The Edmonton Oilers made a pair of additions to their coaching staff by hiring Glen Gulutzan and Trent Yawney as assistant coaches, the team announced on Friday.
Gulutzan spent the last two seasons as the head coach of the Calgary Flames while Yawney played 593 NHL games as a defenseman with the Chicago Blackhawks, Flames, and St. Louis Blues.
Right now game plan is for Yawney to handle D and PK, Viveiros and Gulutzan the PP which was worst in league. Yawney, Gulutzan and McLellan on bench, Viveiros in pressbox, coming down to bench for 3rd period
